National Health Science Standards Review
Help Shape the Future of Health Science Education!
As the national authority for health science education, NCHSE is committed to ensuring the National Health Science Standards reflect the evolving needs of today’s healthcare industry.
We are reviewing and revising these standards—and your input is essential.
Current Representation:
- 18 states represented, with Missouri leading and California and Virginia close behind
- Input received across 40+ healthcare specialties, with strong participation from nursing professionals
We’re working to expand representation across additional career areas, including veterinary, behavioral & mental health, radiology, physical therapy, and health data. Your voice can help ensure these fields are included.
As a thank you, the first 50 reviewers will be entered into a drawing for one of three $100 Amazon gift cards.

Scholarship Opportunity:
American Allied Health (AAH), in partnership with NCHSE, is offering a professional development scholarship for one health science educator to attend the 2026 conference.
The selected recipient will receive full conference registration and lodging (approximate value: $1,500).

Rachel Fisher
Missouri Deparment of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
Rachel Fisher serves as the Supervisor of Health Science Education at the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, where she provides leadership and support to Health Science Education programs and instructors across the state. She also serves as the Missouri HOSA State Advisor. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as baking, reading, and embroidery. She is committed to continuing the outstanding work of her predecessor by supporting and advancing Health Science Education throughout Missouri.

American Medical Certification Association
The American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) is proud to provide national certification exams that afford candidates the opportunity to excel in the allied healthcare industry.
It is AMCA’s mission to deliver high-quality certifications combined with superior customer service. AMCA has partnered with over 2,200 test sites in 50 states and 32 countries. Last year alone, AMCA attended and exhibited at over 38 conferences and has supported over 35,500 healthcare facilities with verification of certifications, leading to healthcare jobs.

Representing AMCA is Danielle Sadighi. She is the Chief Marketing Officer and co-owner of the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), bringing more than 35 years of experience in the allied health industry. Her background spans Career and Technical Education (CTE) and postsecondary education, with a strong focus on connecting education to certification and career success.
Danielle serves on several proprietary school advisory boards and is active in multiple state associations. She co-founded AMCA with her brother Edward Davies in 2010, which has since grown into a nationally recognized, accredited certification agency operating in all 50 states and 32 countries. A frequent national conference speaker, she is passionate about marketing, branding, and innovation in healthcare education.
